The Ivey Advertising Award competition acknowledges and applauds marketing creativity in the Twin Cities theater community.
Theaters of all sizes are invited to submit one marketing example (e.g., a program, poster or a direct mail piece) that showcases their imagination – and the ability to generate results.
Then, starting August 11, the public and your fellow members in the theater community will be able to vote for their favorites. In addition, the marketing experts at RMG will also throw in their own two cents in determining the final outcome based on four criteria common to all campaigns regardless of budget:
-
Originality:
- Did it go beyond the expected?
- Does it stand out from the crowd?
-
Creativity:
- Are the design and visual elements captivating?
- Is it a head-turner and tongue-wagger?
-
Connectivity:
- Did it strike an emotional rapport with the audience?
- Were tears dabbed and smiles suppressed?
-
Motivation:
- Did it move people to buy a ticket?
- Did it have a good butts-in-seats ratio?
